You’ll enjoy being the head of one of our tribes if you enjoy:
· children discovering new things

· participating in role-play and drama
· and have some experience working with children
You can choose either preschool or elementary age families to work with.

Tribe Leader's and Assistant Leader's responsibilities:
· attend a leader training meeting
· attend VBS each day
· participate in fun activities while shepherding families
· arrive early to greet family members each day
· communicate with your other leader and the VBS team

You’ll enjoy being a shopkeeper if you enjoy things like:
· working with your hands
· doing arts and crafts projects
· participating in role-play and drama
Our marketplace has shops such as Geometry School, Pottery Studio, Food Market, Sweet Shop, Olympic Discus Shop, Law Court, Toy-Making, Scribe Shop, Music and Operation Kid-to-kid.  All of these shops need friendly faces to teach and challenge the kids.
 

As a shopkeeper, you'll be responsible for:
· attending scheduled leader training
· maintaining dramatic dialogue with kids and adults as they work
· making sure supplies get to your shop
· helping tribes understand how your shop fits into Bible-time cultures
· guiding hands-on craft projects
· playing the role of a Bible-times artisan or merchant

You'll enjoy leading Games if you enjoy things like:
· joining in team sports
· participating in outdoor recreational activities
· leading kids in fun activities
· encouraging others to do their best

As an Games Leader, you'll be responsible for:
· attending scheduled leader training,
· making sure the supplies get to your area and are returned
· clearly explaining each activity
· leading four sessions of games each day
· assisting the BabylonVBS Director as needed.

You'll enjoy the Registration Team if you enjoy:
· meeting new people
· organizing
· making children and families feel comfortable.


Also need parking lot volunteers, security patrol.
