AH Academy

Our Mission

At Abba's House Academy we strive to provide a balanced program that will further the emotional, social, mental, spiritual, and physical development of each child.

Our program is taught from a Christian perspective and through the actions and teachings of our staff we provide children with knowledge and understanding of basic Christian concepts.  We want the children to feel and experience God's love.

Our staff is one of concern and love for children. Our staff is trained in CPR and First Aid as well as continually attending training and workshops in the child development field.

Goals for our Children

  • Feel accepted, wanted, and loved.
  • Learn to accept and understand his/her own feelings and those of others.
  • Experience success, gain self-confidence, and develop independence and personal responsibility.
  • Become more aware of the world around him/her and how they relate to it.
  • Learn to solve problems.
  • Gain meaning and knowledge from familiar and unfamiliar.
  • Learn to listen and speak with confidence and clarity.
  • Develop a sense of values.

A fundamental part of our program at Abba's House Academy is teaching the children that God created them and has a special plan for each and every child.

We are here to equip your children with the tools they need to succeed and to live a life of excellence.

Get Started

Classroom Tours

Due to the variety of classes, and class schedules, the Academy requires you to contact Brenda Ridge in order to set up a time. We encourage you to bring your child with you when you tour our facility.

Registration

Registration opens up every February for the following school year. Following this date, registrations will be accepted until classes are full, at which time a waiting list will be implemented.

A non-refundable fee is required to register your child for a class. The fee is $100 for each child attending. A 10% discount will be given on the tuition for each additional child attending. If it is necessary to place your child on a waiting list for a class, you do this at no charge.

Immunization Policy

We require all children enrolled in our program to be fully immunized according to the State of Tennessee's schedule of immunizations. Exceptions to this immunization record requirement may be made only if:
1.  Your child's physician or the health department provides a signed and dated statement, giving a medical reason why your child should not be given a specified immunization.
2.  A signed written statement that such immunizations conflict with your religious tenets and practices.

"We are so grateful for AHA! What started out as a daycare selected for convenience has turned into a years-long blessing we didn’t know we needed. Our children have thrived with the love and care provided by their teachers and the staff. AHA has set the foundation for their learning and equipped them to succeed in both the classroom and in life, all while pointing them to Jesus."

"Abba's House Academy is a true Godsend. I have had both my children here from 2yo-kindergarten prep and am so thankful for this wonderful program and the incredible people who run it. My children are loved by the staff as if they were their own. They grow each and every day socially, educationally, and most importantly, spiritually."

- Hannah W.

"My daughter attended Abba’s House Academy and we had the best experience. All of the teachers and staff knew her by name and built a relationship with her. The small class sizes made me feel confident that she received quality instruction and individualized attention. I have no doubts that she is well-prepared for kindergarten. The environment at Abba’s House Academy is loving, nurturing, Christ-centered, and fun. I was amazed at the vocabulary my daughter acquired and loved hearing her stories about their day. Mrs. Leslie is a saint and we adore her! Mrs. Andi and Brenda go out of their way to be amazing leaders of the program. We were so sad to see our time here come to an end, as the program has been such a blessing to our family. The children who get the privilege of attending Abba’s House Academy are loved, prepared, and given a foundation in Christ."

- Emily E.

We absolutely love Abba's House Academy! My daughter learned so much.  It's a place that I felt safe bringing her to each day. The staff (all of them) embraced her with such kindness. Just an amazing place, we are going to miss it."
